Welcome to my leafy bower! I would like to thank you for participating, however briefly, in my small section of The Timeless Dialogue (also known as the Great Conversation). I hope you have enjoyed your visit and gained something from it, whether it be amusement, knowledge, or a good debate. Thank you for coming, and please stop by again!

The Living Oak from Her Heart

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me,
Because the LORD has anointed me
To bring good news to the afflicted;
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives
And freedom to prisoners;
To grant those who mourn in Zion,
Beauty instead of ashes,
The oil of gladness instead of mourning,
The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.
So they will be called oaks of righteousness,
The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.

Isaiah 61:1, 3

  1. Hello, Living Oak! Your photograph is beautiful. I have only read the first paragraph of part 3 of your story, but it looks like a story I will enjoy reading.

What do YOU think?
