My parents

Since I am leaving for college soon, I thought I would do a series on my family.

First, Dad:

My father is the one who taught me to think, to analyze things and find out what they actually mean. He loves to give gifts, and is willing to work hard to give them. For example, he is remaking a bike for me from the bare bones so that I have transportation at college. He loves to learn all he can about one historical person before moving on to another. He also finds great hilarity in puns.

Next, Mom:

My mother is the one who taught me to sew, and cook, and read, and do math, and… seriously, she pretty much taught me all the practical things. She encourages me and prays for me,  and believes that I can do things even when I don’t. She loves to re-read The Pink Motel by Carol Ryrie Brink, and The Princess by Lori Wick. She truly loves math.
